OK…o.k….I know. It has been months since I have posted a blog (my hands have been slapped)!

INTRODUCING… Ben & Susie Mills! This lovely couple invited me down from Seattle to photograph their wedding. I was so happy and honored. I had known Ben since we were in high school, but it was the first time I got to meet the beautiful bride to be! What a wonderful time I had in CA with my new and old friends and the bachelorette party was super fun, with funky dresses! Now get this, the boys went sky diving for the bachelor’s party! I wish I could have photographed that! The day started early in the morning at the Jack House Gardens in San Luis Obispo, CA. Trees surrounded the perimeter of the ceremony site which made it feel secluded, but we were close enough to everything to get to go out for a little jeep ride around town! After the cake cutting, the party really picked up as folks seriously got down and started dancing. Too many beautiful photos, to choose from! Enjoy.

Every morning I find myself going over to the Sage Wedding Pros Blog to see what helpful advice they have posted for the day.

The blog is a must read for any wedding industry professional. I would suggest looking at their post on a 13 step Business Plan

I downloaded it and I’m sure it will come in handy!

So, I have finally been bitten by the blog bug! I am excited to have a way for everyone to see what it is that I spend my time doing.

Blogging seems to be a great way to connect with people in your industry as well as giving advice to those who are looking.

I plan on posting images of recent shoots, explaining lighting, giving tips, personal photo related updates and hopefully talking about contests and charity events.

I have a lot on my little list to talk about. Keep checking in as I have a goal of posting a new entry at least once a week. Hopefully twice!

Here is a teaser shot from a wedding I did For Ben & Susie of Atascadero, CA in August. Their Wedding was held at the beautiful Jack House Venue in downtown San Luis Obispo They are a beautiful couple and have a lot ahead of them in life. <3 you guys!
