Last night I was thinking about life, relationships that inspire me to be better and who I am. It’s a hefty topic, but I thought I would share some of my thoughts here.

- Friends and family are what center you and I could not live with out them. They are what keep you grounded.

- I know I make mistakes every day and that my communication can sometimes be off.

- I am quick to forgive, sometime to a fault though.

- I find beauty when people watching; there is so much to learn about a person from their eyes.

- I can be a lonely person but just as much a completely outgoing happy person.

- I am a wanderer.

- I love travel and adventure.

- I am easily distracted.

- I like change and embrace it, but yet have a hard time understanding how to help it happen.

- I love connections.

- I have been a crutch for people and I think this should end.

- I get my hopes up and let them get easily dashed by other around me.

- I love to let my friends know how much I love them.

- I am weak.

- I am strong.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I was digging around in my old files and I found this photo shoot that I wanted to share. This is a wonderful family that I got to photograph for a family get together in spring of 2008. If I remember right, the family had not all been together in some time with some living in Washington and others living in Montana and I was honored to be able to capture that time together for them. After I delivered the images to the family, the clients had so many good things to say about how I captured there mother and fathers good sides and how hard that normally is to do. That right there is what makes it all worth it. Being able to give someone a photograph to cherish. Thank you for all of your kind words and encouragements.

Here are some of my super finds from the Olympia Artist Garage Sale held once a year. I went with my dear friend Erica of E&M Remodel and we both made out like bandits! You can find everything from stuff to make art to finished works ready to take home! You never know what gems you may find.

Heather & Steve’s day was such an honor to be apart of. Heather was not only a totally stunning bride, but her and Steve knew how to have fun too! We got to go play at the Seattle EMP, and the Seattle Center amusement park. Their wedding was down on the Alki waterfront and it was the perfect little spot. I loved that they had a cotton candy machine for guests, minty mint lemonade to quench your thirst and cowbells to ring in the couples new marriage! I mostly loved that these two were so clearly and utterly in love. Every photo of them shows it.
