I was digging around in my old files and I found this photo shoot that I wanted to share. This is a wonderful family that I got to photograph for a family get together in spring of 2008. If I remember right, the family had not all been together in some time with some living in Washington and others living in Montana and I was honored to be able to capture that time together for them. After I delivered the images to the family, the clients had so many good things to say about how I captured there mother and fathers good sides and how hard that normally is to do. That right there is what makes it all worth it. Being able to give someone a photograph to cherish. Thank you for all of your kind words and encouragements.

Introducing Kathleen, Sam and little Riley!

This family was so sweet to work with. We spent a late afternoon on Bainbridge Island taking photos at a friends lavender farm. We were lucky enough to be able to get the beautiful golden sunlight as the sun set, ending our session. Riley was the perfect little model and she made it through most of the photoshoot without a peep. I can’t wait to see her again!

I got to go play in the woods on Bainbridge Island, in the beginning of fall with Quinn and her mom. Quinn is an amazing little girl with quite the personality. We had a great time running and inspecting the creek at the Grand Forest, changing into fun clothes and sneaking in a few shots in with Dad!

They have been building their first home and I am sure it is close to being finished. I cannot wait to see the new home and to photograph Quinn and the family this summer!
