Heather & Steve’s day was such an honor to be apart of. Heather was not only a totally stunning bride, but her and Steve knew how to have fun too! We got to go play at the Seattle EMP, and the Seattle Center amusement park. Their wedding was down on the Alki waterfront and it was the perfect little spot. I loved that they had a cotton candy machine for guests, minty mint lemonade to quench your thirst and cowbells to ring in the couples new marriage! I mostly loved that these two were so clearly and utterly in love. Every photo of them shows it.

Please leave some blog comments, I love would love to hear everyone’s thoughts!

Introducing the Whiz Kids!

Monday, April 19, 2010

Matt & Erica are the type of couple that walk into a room and light the place up! They have big hearts, big smiles and a lot of love to give. They are some of my best friends and I was honored to photograph their elegant wedding in Olympia, WA

Matt proposed to Erica on a trip to Thailand in 2008. They were they’re visiting Erica’s parents who have been sailing around the world the last few years. Can you say lucky!
So what else would any other good mother do? Take your daughter out shopping for a wedding dress right then and there! Erica found the most beautiful gown and it fit her personality perfectly. It was completely unique.

They were married on Capitol Lake in Olympia on a Sunny afternoon with the reception held right across the street. The wedding was elegant, simple and filled with love. Matt and Erica have two wonderful fury children, whom they love dearly. Chica and Doug made a quick appearance for photos right after the ceremony.

I’m so happy for them and I look forward to seeing the great things they do in life.
